Ambulatory monitoring of blood pressure (AMBP) is a non-invasive exam that records blood pressure over a period of 24 hours.

Duration : 24 hours

Preparation : No special preparation needed

  • A blood pressure cuff is placed around the patient’s arm
  • Bring a full and updated list of medications
  • Blood pressure is taken every 30 minutes during the day and once every hour at night

A doctor's referral is required for these tests.
